To celebrate 80 years of Gotham’s greatest hero, AT&T partnered with DC and Warner Bros. to create The Batman Experience—a five-day immersive exhibit that became the crown jewel of San Diego Comic-Con. Designed as a love letter to fans, the activation brought eight decades of Batman to life through a curated journey of rare props, costumes, comics, and memorabilia. But this wasn’t just a museum—it was a full-on sensory takeover that combined nostalgia with cutting-edge technology, drawing massive crowds and dominating buzz at the convention.

At the heart of the experience were fan-powered interactions that let attendees step directly into Batman’s world. Visitors could suit up and take to the skies in The Dark Knight Dive, a VR skydiving simulator that gave them a first-person view of Gotham. The Rogue’s Gallery Rumble reimagined the campy charm of the 60s series in an interactive villain showdown, while the Batcave Arcade offered every Batman video game ever made, ready to play. Every detail of the exhibit honored the mythos of Batman while making fans feel like they were part of it.
