7-ELEVEN/Simpsons KWIK-E-MART

This is an oldie, but I can’t take it out of my book. It is still the project I am most proud to have been a part of. In it, you’ll see the characteristics that I strive for in my work to this day — wonder, joy, culture, humanity. Not to mention it is retail/commerce at its best.

To promote The Simpsons Movie, 7-Eleven partnered with Fox to transform select stores into real-life Kwik-E-Marts — a fully immersive stunt that blurred the line between fandom and retail. We reimagined every detail, from iconic product placements like Buzz Cola and Krusty O’s to custom signage and uniforms, turning everyday convenience stores into pop culture landmarks. The campaign became an instant phenomenon, drawing massive media coverage, fan pilgrimages, and record-setting sales. Oh, and it took home a couple Gold Lions from Cannes.
